Put your Boots on!

Kelli, my daughter, was headed to her car when she discovered a small snake in the vestibule. She went for a bucket, while Steve grabbed the critter behind the head. Lili stood, clutching her face, horrified by the turn of events.

Soon after the capture, rough and tough tomboy Kel stepped outside to discover yet another small snake. She ran back into the terminal yelling, “I got to get my boots on!”

Determined to reach her vehicle, she headed outdoors to kick some snake tail only to discover the snake could fly. The slippery serpent sprung straight into the air in an attempt to scare her. It worked! With her arms waving, high pitched screaming, boot stomping ballerina dancing, she finally crushed the tiny snake under the heel of her boot.

Good Job, Kel!

Luke 10:19 Behold, I have given you authority to tread on serpents and scorpions, and over all the power of the enemy, and nothing shall hurt you.

  1. What is up with ya’ll and snakes this year, girlfriend??? I call my “flip-flops” my snake shoes. Guaranteed to get bit!!! Love the story! Kelli is beautiful! Love the photo! Isn’t it amazing though how things such as this can take us to Holy Scripture? God can use anything, can’t He? Thanks for sharing, enjoyed reading, and God Bless, SR

  2. Oh my . .. your snake cup over runneth! I love Kelli’s idea of getting her boots on! That’s the spirit! God bless you and send those snakes to someone else for a change! :)

  3. Perhaps we need to exercise that Authority Dei as once again I can’t leave a Like on your Post as your Page has a error on it, Wayne my Computer Tech, is checking it out , you are not the only one that has this bug, it seems to be with quite a few I visit , perhaps I should do a Post about this, so people will be warned, as you said yesterday others are having the same problem with the Likes. It seems to be a plug which means it may be deliberate, I will let you know after Wayne contacts me and if it’s possible will also explain how you can debug it, but it no doubt would be a good idea to let WordPress Support know too so they can check it out for you, as it is not my Blog I can’t do this, some people are very sick in the mind for sure and in their spirit but it could still be Technical we will know soon or it could be the snake again :-(

    Christian Love Annie.

      • Hi Dei, I would of followed up by e-mail as I have done with most others but we don’t seem to connect anymore like we did, well at least I don’t hear back from you, so perhaps you are not getting my emails.

Wayne is a very good Tech but having his own Business means he is very busy and not always available but he does the best he can which I very much appreciate. Wayne has done a debugging now on my Computer and also checked out yours and some of the other Blogs I comment on, he has identified what your problem is and the others, such as when people can’t use the Like Button or have other problems like I do with Posting and commenting.

The good news is that it is not a Hacker, Wayne said it is a plug or attachment that is causing these problems and may need replacing or adjusting, it’s part of WordPresses Platform,

They are called Backbone and wpcom.Kissmetrics, you can quote these when you contact WordPress Support as I will also do.

Hope that helps – Love Annie

      • Annie, I have not received any e-mails from you lately.
Does that mean Brother Wayne has fixed both our WP “like” problems or do I have to complain?
Thanks for the great investigative work!
        God Bless You!

      • Hi Dei, I still can’t leave a Like on your Blog but I can now on Cathy’s, not sure about the others, I have to get dressed for Church soon but will check them out when I get home.

No, I’m sorry Wayne can only identify the problems he can’t fix them when their WordPresses, they have to do this but good news is he is not going to charge you for my letting you know :-)

I will also respond to your new Post when I get home and 100 others, Hmmmm why are there only 7 days in a week surely a few more would help! but on further reflection…more bugs! but then what would we do without Technology, I would not have met you which is a real blessing. God is so good giving man the intelligence and gifts to share and create.

Not sure about my e-mails, I will try again later.

        Always helpful Annie
