Imperfection!

But He said to me, “My grace is sufficient for you, for my power is made perfect in weakness.” Therefore I will boast all the more gladly of my weaknesses, so that the power of Christ may rest upon me.

Prayer request: Brooke, a young child in the family, has swelling on the brain! I’m also headed to New York tomorrow for a Christian retreat! Thank you, prayer warriors for your prayers! And most of all thank you, Dear JESUS, for your awesome and mighty blessings!

  1. Will pray for Brooke and the family. I am so sorry. I can imagine nothing worse then a sick child. When I read things like this, it makes me remember how blessed I am. Thank you for letting us know and also let us know how the retreat went. God Bless you, Brooke and family, SR

  2. Praying for Brooke, that Jesus take the swelling away and comfort her. And praying for you safe travels and an awesome retreat. You are taking your camera, right? :) God bless you and be with you always!

  3. Lady D, this is another excellent post. It speaks to wavering faith in times of testing. Lord help me to remember that your grace is sufficient for me. Thanks so much for sharing another well thought out post with us Lady D. Have a safe and rewarding retreat. Please keep us in your prayers as we do the same for yourself and Brooke. God blesses.

    • Hello, Noel.
I couldn’t possibly come up with this stuff on my own. Praise God! Also had a wonderful time in Pennsylvania & New York. Extreme opposites places to visit.
      God Bless You!

  4. Praying for healing and protection–and prayers of gratitude for His covering wings. He is our Hiding Place, and our Healing Place. God bless you abundantly–love, sis Caddo

  5. We will be with you Dei in prayer for Brooke and all the family, God is not the Author of sickness and suffering but He does heal, yes He may use tools but it’s only by His hands that health can be restored.

Christian Love from both of us – Ron and Anne.

  6. I will be holding Brooke up in prayer, in the name of Jesus. Also praying that you are blessed beyond measure, restored, strengthened, and renewed at the Christian retreat!
