Hope for the Future

Lately, I’ve spotted a lot of butterflies. They’ve even started to pose for me. I’ve heard it said once that Butterflies are a great sign of encouragement from God. Meaning, hope for the future.

For I know the plans I have for you, declares the Lord, plans for welfare and not for evil, to give you a future and a hope. Jer 29:11

There is hope for your future, declares the Lord, and your children shall come back to their own country. Jer 31:17

O Israel, hope in the Lord! For with the Lord there is steadfast love, and with him is plentiful redemption. Ps. 130:7

  1. This one brought tears. I lost a very dear friend to breast cancer two years ago, and have another facing the same thing now. I know it’s ok to be sad, but it’s good to be reminded that our hope is in Him and not in medicine or anything else. In the end, regardless of the outcome, I know God is in it all and I will see them again one day. Angie

  2. I love butterflies too. Such delight and joy and yes, hope! God bless you and yours and all the wonderful creatures He brings to you, so you can encourage us with them!

  3. Hi Dei beautiful Butterflies you have a gift that brings joy but is also used by God, you touched my heart today, I’m so confused and upset with all the Hacker problems that I called to the Lord yesterday to set me free from it all and He reminded me of a poem I penned when He gave me the gift of poetry 5 years ago, at this time not only did He give me the words in my poetry, He anointed them with a sign and wonder which Ron mentioned briefly in his Corner we call it God’s Ink, I will share fully soon. I would like to share this poem with you Dei as your post today was a confirmation of His assurance that although we do have problems we never go through them alone, I will post it later today.

In reference to the Israelites it is indeed wonderful to realise, this is all of us who are in Christ Jesus, we are the new Spiritual Jews we are the Children of faith promised to Abraham but there will be a remnant saved of all those Israelites like us who believe in Jesus Christ as their Lord and Saviour , God will graft them in.

Romans 9 :7 -8 Neither, because they are the seed of Abraham, are they all children: but, In Isaac shall thy seed be called. That is, They which are the children of the flesh, these are not the children of God: but the children of the promise are counted for the seed.

Romans 9:26-28 And it shall come to pass, that in the place where it was said unto them, Ye are not my people; there shall they be called the children of the living God. Esaias also crieth concerning Israel, Though the number of the children of Israel be as the sand of the sea, a remnant shall be saved:

Romans 11 23 And they also, if they abide not still in unbelief, shall be grafted in: for God is able to graft them in again.

Be back soon – Christian Love Annie

    • Hello, Annie.
I guess I had hoped the hacker took a left turn somewhere and forgot about you. I pray it so in Jesus name.
Looking forward to the poem, I’ll keep an eye out for it!
And thank you for the lesson. It’s always good to learn more about our Lord.
Thank you your encouragement & God Bless You!

      • Hi Dei as promised this is the poem God reminded me of, He also gave me a Scripture a few months ago that I have since shared with others that confirms this poem, I don’t want to keep relating what I have been through with the hacker and it continues but I did feel greatly comforted by this Scripture, God does not cause us to suffer but He does strengthen us and uphold us as we go through it and then works it for good, I’m still waiting but I don’t have any doubts, God is Faithful.

        The Butterfly Dance
The butterfly dances in the flutter of wings lifting
and gliding in the warm summer breeze,
Soaring above a colorful hue of flowers
        decked in morning dew.

Searching and seeking his mate to be found listening
        for her soft responding sound,
Then deep in the meadow close to his call
he touches her wings in silent embrace lovingly
        holding her face to face.

Nothing will hurt this love that he’s found for he will
protect her as he stands his ground,
        Constantly shielding giving her peace
from the force of the storm
        and the blazing heat,
Loving and whole joyously free bonded
        together in harmony.

Isaiah 43:1-3 – Do not be afraid, for I have ransomed you. I have called you by name; you are mine. When you go through deep waters and great trouble, I will be with you. When you go through rivers of difficulty, you will not drown! When you walk through the fire of oppression, you will not be burned up; the flames will not consume you. For I am the LORD, your God, the Holy One of Israel, your Saviour.”

Thanks Dei for letting me share and for just being there – Christian Love Annie.

  4. Glory be to God! Lovely words, lovely pics, Lady D. May God continue to inspire and guide you. You are a blessing and an inspiration.

    God bless you.

  5. I love butterflies too, they are always around me. Yellow butterflies. I have a collection of pics of being close to a butterfly. Laying right next to it.
You have inspired me that there is a hidden message in my experience that day.

Blessings to you and thank you for sharing.

    • Awesome. Yellow means Gift from God, if felt in a warm way — especially when you are dreaming.
God Bless You & thank you for your words — they have warmed my heart.

  6. This is wonderful! Just a few days ago I saw the small white butterfly outside my window as I was doing the “blog job”–and put him/her into a haiku. I had no idea it symbolized encouragement from God–but I’ll sure ’nuff receive that!! Thank you–and may God richly bless you and your family.

  7. Wonderful Dei – the title made me think of a verse in “Great is Thy Faithfulness”

Pardon for sin and a peace that endureth,
    Thy own dear presence to cheer and to guide;
Strength for today and bright hope for tomorrow,
Blessings all mine, with ten thousand beside!
